Monterey Villa transformed a deteriorated, vacant parking lot into a high-quality, well-managed, supportive residential community for individuals with special needs. This new community located in San Jose, CA provides 20 one and two bedroom apartments for special needs individuals. On-site amenities include a community room and computer center, where Resident Services will provide regular after school programs for children, computer and education classes for families and special needs individuals, and social activities for all residents. Residents will also be within walking distance of a number of neighborhood amenities including the Caltrain Blossom Hill station, a grocery store, a drug store, restaurants and other retail establishments in the adjacent shopping center. Construction was completed in 2014 at a cost of $4M.
